Achtung Spitfeuer! Three vs. three !
After when I added altitude markers, damage cards I tried to play three vs. three planes.
Typical playing field is size of small table with blanket on it. By the meaning of size - 80 cm per 100 cm will be good size.
British planes are 3200m same as German. Distance is not far to each other. I am not used markers with direction of flying and Sun location and alos no clouds. It can be always an option for player.
Here we can see how Spitfire change altitude from 3200m to 3600m. M (Moved) marker help player to locate which plane did move, which not. After when player moves also marker with altitude was changed.
Traverse Left done by "Meser" with altitude change. Spitifre can better climb byt ME-109 can better dive. That gave player some benefits during fight.
Situation after one round. All planes with M (Moved) marker mean that we can start another round. Player must remove all markers from field and start again new one.
British starts this time. Dice 2.4.6 are British. Dice 1,3,5 are German. Traverse Left with altitude change made by first 'Spit".
Meser flew up 400m to 3400m.
Second ME-109E also flew up per same altitude. Straight Right UP 400m
Spitfire tryied to dive from 3200m to 2800m and prepare to attack.
Second Spitifire attacked Me-109 from below - which allow him to attack on such short distance and avoid collision. UP marker mean that his next move must be done with climb. When both planes attack from front on different altitude - it is possible to make that move. If planes are on same altitude - attack can be performed from tail or sides.
Damage cards and dice are used to select number of card. Selected card number six was SHOOT DOWN - first ME-109 has been destroyed.
Each time when player will select card - SHOOT DOWN or HIT he can add ACE card to any location. There are 15+ damage cards and on beginning only one is SHOOT DOWN and three card with HIT and altitude lost. Each time when player will pick damage cards with HIT he can add ACE card and increase chances to hit another plane.
Second ME-109 perform counter attack |Spitfire from different altitude. Player can attack his oponent with 200 m difference in altitude with Marker UP or DOWN selection to remember his next move.
Selected card number four from damage card is M (Missed) and Spitfire can do Any Move Straight,
This time British starts round. Spitfire flew with traverse UP 400m from 2800m to 3200m
ME-109 has batter range to shoot because of 20mm canon. And found way to aim Spitfire.
Spitfire was hit and must lost altitude 600m. German player added ACE card to damage cards.
And Spitfire lost his altitide from 3600m to 3000m with Traverse Straight Down.
