Battle of Britain. Fighters Duel
Done. I have finished my old Spitfire Mk. I vs. ME-109E game with similar rules like from FC game.
So far I have three Spitfire Mk. I fighters in 1:144 scale and three ME-109 E fighters.
Each plane has two Flying Consoles, also 12 basic damage cards for each side plus four "ACE" cards.
ME-109 E with Flying Console to move plane STRAIGHT LEFT/RIGHT with small traverse plus dive or claim with some altitude. ME-109E was better in dive so during one move player can change altitude from 200 to 800 meters down and only 400 meters up. Simple ruler. Or left or right side. Flying Consoles are made per my own calculation with speed and turn time. STRAIGHT BOOST MODE is for Spitfire so far I can use only in defense, but I am going to add that speed for STRAIGHT moves.
ME-109 E with Flying Console to make turns. He can make Turn Left move (and fly up or down if necessary). Also he can fly with Traverse Left or Right.

Also can change altitude but only per some limit written on console near Sharp Left/Right Turn

Sharp Left Turn with selection on corner. When you check Flying Console you will find that depend from turn some plane can have more option to move.
Sample of game 3 vs. 3 planes. But I think that one vs one is good enough, Takes about 20 minutes... and few HITS which force enemy plane fly down...down...and crash.. or shoot down.
One vs. One result - Spitfire hit multiple times "Meser" forcing him to go down from 3000 m to 1000 and at very end select card. Shoot Down.
Flying Straight he can also place aircraft on one of the makers and his position can be shifted depend from player decision. He can claim 400 m and dive 800 m in one move.
Before move. Flying Console for both planes are similar per length, except BOOST mode for Spitfire who can fly much faster but only in short time.
Range of fire for ME-109E was determine per his turn skills. In sample below you can see that only one Spitfire is in range of fire.
In situation when player will pick HIT card - he can add SHOOT DOWN with diamond card to plie of cards. That will increase shooting result. Similar to ACE!

What ME-109 can do with Flying Console. Can dive 800 m or claim 400 m. So you can see capabilities of German plane.
And if ME-109 want to make turns he can also change altitude UP or DOWN
Angle for shooting skills. Because Spitfire can do wide turn vs. "Meser" plane he can attack left and right much wider. Interesting option because you can't shoot similar with you wan to make ATTACK LEFT or ATTACK RIGHT
Spitfire Mk. I can fly Straight Left/Right UP or DOWN similar as ME-109. But has also BOOST mode (that speed is used when enemy attacking Spitfire and plane must run away). Summary - Spitfire can claim 800 meters but dive only 400 meters in one move. So it is not good to chase ME-109 when he is flying down. It is because his engine had carburetor and during flying down engine could shoot down because of no fuel was delivered to engine.
Spitfire can make better turns then ME-109E and it has Sharp Turn Left/Right move.Also can change altitude but only per some limit written on console near Sharp Left/Right Turn

Twelve cards for each side plus four ACES. When you wan to shoot pick twelve corner dice, throw and pick card after counting or from left or right. You can also mix them and select after counting.
Spitfire cards.
Spitfire and ME-109E cards. When one player during attack will pick HIT card with information about loosing altitude - he must replace card selected by dice number with ACE card. That will increase SHOOT DOWN result.
All options for ME-109E when he is trying to fly right. He can do classic Turn Right but also he can change altitude per 200 m UP or 400 m DOWN. If he is planning to fly Traverse TRL (straight right) he can dive even 800m or claim 400m. Yellow markers are simple markers to provide information about direction of attack. Blue markers with 000, 200, 400, 600, 800 are simple altitude markers,
Spitfire can dive only 400m but claim twice better then ME-109. Equal chances. Meser can dive 800m, but Spitfire can claim 800m in one move.Flying Straight he can also place aircraft on one of the makers and his position can be shifted depend from player decision. Turing Left for ME-109E
Range of fire for ME-109E was determine per his turn skills. In sample below you can see that only one Spitfire is in range of fire.
Spitfire has wide angle for attack left or right side but limitation will be machine guns range. Me-109E had 20mm cannon and had better effective range of fire.

Cards are mixed and player who shooting use six corner dice and picking that card from pile. Below yoy get MISSED card with ANY TURN LEFT move. So Spitfire missed and ME-109 can make any turn left (can dive or claim as well).In situation when player will pick HIT card - he can add SHOOT DOWN with diamond card to plie of cards. That will increase shooting result. Similar to ACE!
